I'm a software engineer in Bengaluru. For 13+ years I've built the backend and data plumbing behind banks, brokerages, hotels and airlines.
Right now I'm a Software Engineer III in JPMorgan Chase's Corporate & Investment Bank, building post-trade settlement services with Spring Boot, Kafka, Spark and Airflow on AWS. Before that I was at Fidelity Investments, and before that at Mindtree (now LTIMindtree), working on systems for Marriott and SITA.
Outside work I swim freestyle (I used to race at state level), draw with pencils, play tennis-ball cricket in my residential society (a decent batsman who also bowls right-arm medium), and read the Indian markets more closely than is probably healthy. In my spare time I explore the latest tech and occasionally build things, a few of which end up on GitHub.
The best way to reach me is the contact form below, or find me on LinkedIn, GitHub or X.

Where the habit of pulling systems apart started.
Java SOAP services for airline systems, built test-first. Downtime here shows up as a traveller stuck at a check-in desk.
Built a Kafka-based booking platform from scratch with Play Framework and Akka, plus Hadoop pipelines through the hotel merger.
Asset-management compliance systems, including moving a core module from on-prem to AWS.
High-availability services for post-trade calculation and settlement, plus the data pipelines behind them.
Freestyle. Raced at state level, and the pool is still where I think best.
A decent right-hand bat who also bowls right-arm medium. We play soft tennis-ball cricket in my residential society, and CricHeroes calls me an accumulator and a wildcard, which is fair. My stats on CricHeroes
